Happy Holidays from Rose Memorial Library

Wishing everyone a happy holiday season! We’re kicking things off with Light Up Stony Point on Friday, Dec. 1. Join us on the lawn to watch the parade, and enjoy hot cocoa and crafts. We’ll be open late (8pm).

‘Tis the season for fun holiday programs. Join us for these featured events.

Cedar Swag

Create a small cedar bough for your door or mantle. We will provide the cedar boughs, some pine cones and ribbons as well as twine and floral wire (and maybe some other decorations); however, if you have any stray ornaments, special ribbons or other decorations you’d like to place on your swag, feel free to bring them!

Join us for hot cocoa and cookies as you diamond "paint" a few holiday ornaments (or alternatively you can make diamond coasters).

Tunes for Tots is back!

Registration is open for another 3 week session of Tunes for Tots at Powerhouse Dance Center in Stony Point (Tuesdays, Dec. 5, 12, & 19). This program uses live music to aid in childhood development. Introducing music early helps cognitive development, social, emotional and motor skills as well as language development. We will be integrating some favorite Holiday sing-a-long songs for this session.

Winter Art Show – Call for Submissions

Have you taken one of our painting classes? If so please consider contributing a piece to our Community Art Show which will be on display at the Library from the beginning of January to the end of February.
