Hoopla is a groundbreaking digital media service that allows you to borrow ebooks, audiobooks, comics, movies and TV shows, and even music albums – to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone – and even your TV! With no waiting, titles can be streamed immediately or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment. Rose Memorial Library patrons get 4 checkouts monthly.
Hoopla Kids Mode offers child-friendly content without having to sign out or link additional children’s cards. Simply switch to Kids Mode at top left.
Kanopy is an on-demand streaming video platform that offers films and documentaries, including the popular Criterion Collection. More recently Kanopy has added more mainstream movies. Kanopy’s subdivision, Kanopy Kids, includes children’s programming. All Kanopy member accounts have access to Kanopy Kids.
Libby is the new and improved OverDrive App for your e-books & audiobooks. Libby’s catalog is expansive, and holds do apply on some titles. You can preview both ebooks and audiobooks. Libby also works on a desktop. There is no limit to Libby checkouts.
While the Overdrive app has been discontinued, you can still access Overdrive on your desktop. Overdrive for Kindle is active. Help for using Overdrive on Kindle.
Freading is a downloadable eBook service from Library Ideas. Freading eBooks are available with simultaneous access so there are no holds needed—an unlimited number of library customers may download a Freading eBook title at the same time.
