Featured Programs
Summer Family Festival – hosted by Friends of Rose Memorial Library and Rose Memorial Library: Sunday, June 25, 12pm – 4pm. Join us for a day of fun at Charles S. Eccher Park. There will be games, crafts and sports all afternoon. Shop a variety of vendors and food trucks!
Read to Bead : June 26 – August 10. For grades K-5. Exchange your game board for beads for your charm bracelet. Each bead gives you tickets to our raffle for prizes!
Rubber Ducky Music Party with Mr. Drew: Tuesday, June 27, 10:30am. Our Rubber Ducky reading club is for ages 0-4 and kicks off with a fun performance with Mr. Drew (Tunes for Tots of Rockland). Come sing, dance, and sign up for Summer Reading. Takes place at Vincent Clark Park.
Pirate School with David Engel: Monday, June 26, 6:30pm. In this madcap comedy variety show, kids live out their Buccaneer dreams, working together to become great pirates! Takes place at Vincent Clark Park.
Ice Cream Sundae Party: Wednesday, June 28, 5:30pm – 7pm. Drop by the Library to make your own ice cream sundae – toppings galore!
Teen BINGO: Pickup starts June 27. Complete reading and other activities to earn prizes and a chance to win a $75 Amazon gift card!
Sharpie Alcohol Art: Wednesday, June 14, 4pm – 6pm. For Teens & Adults. Make a pencil case or makeup bag with a tie-dye effect.
Zentangle Time: Wednesday, June 14, 1pm – 3pm. For Teens & Adults. Learn how to use art as therapy to make some psychedelic art using sharpies, special pens, and your subconscious mind!
Kumihimo Braiding: Monday, June 26, 4pm – 6pm. For Teens and Adults. Learn this cool technique that makes grown-up looking friendship bracelets.
Brunch and a Book: Saturday, August 12, 11am. For Adults. It’s the return of the Rose Memorial Library Bookclub! Join us on a Saturday for a catered brunch and lively discussion of our monthly book pick. Contact jbuckhout@rcls.org for details.
Family Nature Foraging, Tuesday, June 13, 10am – 12pm. Join us for a leisurely walk to see what’s growing this summer in Stony Point and neighboring area.
