Children Programs

CIRCLE TIME. at Vincent Clark Park (weather permitting)

Mondays, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28 @11:30am, ages 2-5. Registration required.

Stories, music, shakers, bubbles and fun! Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Program is weather permitting.

FUN WITH PLAY DOUGH.

Tuesday, 9/22 @11:30am, for ages 2.5-5. Sign up begins 9/8.

Together preschoolers and caregivers will squeeze, roll and cut out fun shapes with play dough.

CRAFTERNOONS.

Mondays, 9/14 & 28 for Grades K-4. No registration is necessary.

Drop in the library and create a simple craft while you are here. (while supplies last)

BOO HOO/YAHOO BRUNCH.

Thursday, 9/10 @10:30 am

Whether you’re shedding a tear or breathing a sigh of relief, we’re here for you! Join us at the library for our Boo Hoo / Yahoo Breakfast — a cozy drop-in brunch for parents & caregivers on the first week of school. (See online calendar for more details)

MESSY MEET UPS! at Vincent Clark Park (weather permitting)

Wednesdays, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23 & 9/30 @11:30am, for preschoolers.

Get ready for sensory filled fall fun! Messy Meet ups is a hands on playtime for toddlers/ preschoolers and their caregivers. Each session will feature themed activities like apple stamping, pumpkin scooping, leaf painting, and more- perfect for little hands to squish, squash and explore! Come embrace the mess! Remember to wear appropriate clothes ( or bring a change of clothes ). Program is weather dependent.

PJ STORYTIME.

Wednesday, 9/30 for ages 4-7.

Put on your comfiest PJs and join us for a cozy evening of bedtime stories and a simple craft.

SCHOOL SUPPLY GLOW UP.

Wed. 9/2 & Thurs. 9/3 @12-5pm, for Grades K+

Drop in and get creative! Decorate folders, notebooks, and school supplies with stickers, washi tape, doodles, and more to make them uniquely yours. While supplies last! No registration necessary.

1000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN!

Children from birth to Pre-kindergarten are invited to join us for a fun reading adventure. Read together, track your books, earn rewards, and build a lifelong love of reading–one book at a time!

TAKE & MAKE CRAFT

Friday, 9/18 for Preschoolers.

Stop by the library to pick up a pre-prepped craft to take home. While supplies last! No registration necessary

MINI TRINKET DISH RESIN WORKSHOP

Friday, 9/25 @6pm

Create a beautiful, custom trinket dish using real dried flowers and UV resin. This hands-on, class is perfect for beginners. You’ll design and cure your dish during class, and take it home the same day. No experience needed.

Book Character Pumpkin Contest

Our 6th annual Book Character Pumpkin Contest is back! Register online and then stop at the library to pick up your pumpkin. We supply the pumpkin and you’ll use materials at home to decorate it as your favorite children’s book character. (See online calendar for more details)
