LITTLE FREE LIBRARY NEEDS A NEW HOMERose Memorial Library will be debuting a new mobile Little Free Library out in the community thanks to the generosity of community members, Ed and Nancy Lenore! The Little Free Library will be moving locations every 4-6 months. The host locations need to be on flat ground and an area that sees a decent amount of foot traffic is preferable. ANNUAL BOOK CHARACTER PUMPKIN CONTESTIt’s back! Decorate a pumpkin to look like your favorite book character! Registration is required on our online events calendar to claim a foam pumpkin. Return it to the library by October 11th so we can put it on display. Library staff will pick our top 5 favorites, and patrons will vote on the final winner. STONY POINT FALL FESTWe’ll be at the annual Stony Point Fall Fest and Family Fun Day, presented by PAL, on Saturday Sept. 30 at Kirkbridge Hall from 10am – 4pm. Come enjoy games, food and vendors and say hello to Library staff! In honor of Library Card Sign Up Month we have goodies for kids who register for their very first Library card!
