Summer Family Festival Sunday, June 25, 12pm – 4pm
Join us for a day of fun at Charles S. Eccher Park. There will be games, crafts and sports all afternoon. Shop a variety of vendors and food trucks! Rubber Ducky Music Party with Mr. Drew Tuesday,June 27,10:30am
Our Rubber Ducky reading club is for ages 0-4 and kicks off with a fun performance with Mr. Drew (of Tunes for Tots of Rockland) at Vincent Clark Park! Come sing, dance, and get all you need to be part of the club. Rubber Ducky programs continue through August 4 – check calendar for more.
Pirate School with David Engel Monday, June 26, 6:30pm
Set sail with Pirate School! In this madcap comedy variety show, kids live out their Buccaneer dreams, working together to become great pirates! At the program kids will also have a chance to register for Summer Reading and pick up their bag and game board. Program takes place at Vincent Clark Park. Registration opens June 5.
Ice Cream Sundae Party! Wednesday, June 28, 5:30pm – 7pm
Drop by the Library to make your own ice cream sundae and register for Summer Reading! We’ll give you everything you need to get on your way to earning fun prizes. Registration opens June 5.
Read to Bead June 26 – August 10
Complete activities on your game board and turn it into the Library each week to earn beads on your chain! Every time you come in for beads, you will be entered into our weekly raffles for a chance to win more prizes! (Bracelets are for kids entering Kindergarten through those entering Grade 5)
Pickup starts June 27
Teens (entering grades 6 & up), pick up your Summer Reading BINGO board. Complete reading and other activities to earn prizes and a chance to win a $75 Amazon gift card!

Learn how to use art as therapy to make some psychedelic summer art using sharpies, special pens, and your imagination. This program is for Teens & Adults.
Sharpie Alcohol Art
Wednesday, June 14, 4pm – 6pm
Create a summery tie-dye effect on a canvas bag that you can use as a pencil case or makeup bag. This program is for Teens and Adults.
Monday, June 26, 4pm – 6pm
Learn to make a beautiful braided cord. We will start with a simple pattern but there are endless ways to change it up. We’re calling these grown-up friendship bracelets! For Teens and Adults.
Family Nature Foraging Walk Monday, June 12, 4pm – 6pm
Join us for a leisurely walk to see what’s growing this summer in our local area. The meetup location will be emailed to participants. Bring walking shoes, water, sunscreen etc. Meetup location TBD in Rockland.

Acrylic Pouring – Make a Pair of Coasters

Join us to learn the Acrylic Pouring Technique to create a pair of unique, marbled coasters. This is the design we made at our recent Crafts & Drafts fundraiser, and thanks to your feedback we are offering it again for those who couldn’t make it!
