Join us for a vibrant season of reading, creativity, and discovery with this year’s Summer Reading theme: Color Our World! Track your reading, earn fun prizes, and take part in exciting events—from crafts and performances to special storytimes and more. Sign up and add a splash of color to your summer at the library!

Pick up your reading log starting June 23rd

Keep track of your reading to win Book Bucks that you can use to buy prizes at the Library’s “store”. Book reporting will start the week of June 30 and run through the first week of August. Certificates will be handed out at our finale event or can be picked up at the Library after.

ADULT PRIZE CATEGORIES

Bookmark Design Contest

Grab a couple blank bookmarks, and using any medium, create your own original design! Submit by Aug 15th. Select work(s) will be turned into real Bookmarks offered at the Library and 1 grand prize winner will be chosen!

Avid Reader Award

For every book you read, fill out a Book Review Slip and drop it into the raffle box at the Library. Read anything you like! One winner will be chosen at random.

Program Attendance

Attend the most programs in July & August to steal this category! Fill out a Frequent Flyer Card and bring it to class, attend any kind of program (and supervising a kid’s program also counts!) and get a star for each one!

First Time Library Card

It’s never too late to get a Library Card! This category is for anyone age 18+ who gets their FIRST Rose Memorial Library Card this summer. Welcome to the Community!!

Summer Reading BINGO

A mix of bookish and summery tasks will get you a BINGO! You will earn a raffle ticket for each Bingo, up to 5 Bingos. Drop your raffle ticket into the BINGO BOX. One winner will be selected at random.

Winner in each category will receive a $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE to a local restaurant!
